After nearly a week out of Windows 7 and some extensive testing, we are going to give our first impressions of the latest version of the operating system Microsoft . Mentioning that the installation of Windows 7 has been made in a 2.2 ghz Intel Core2Duo, with 2GB of DDR2 memory.

Installation: The first thing that attracts attention, these are the minimum needed 16GB for installation. I seem excessive, but if it is true that today, who else who has less and drives 500 GB or more surprising to see how the competition ( Linux and Mac OS ) have refined their systems to the growth of the installation minimum or even lower.
On the other although it has improved considerably GUI installation so much more intuitive for the average user, yet still seems a little complex to understand and believe that could be improved.
Once we have initialized the installation, note that it is all automatic and will not have any assistance by means of which to be outstanding will be ended. Once struck by the time employed, this being significantly lower than the previous OS like Windows XP .
Once inside: The first impression we have to refresh your desktop, d Ependes among other factors if we had previous experience with Windows Vista , or if, as is the case come directly from XP. If your case is this last or pleasantly surprised and s that the interface is consistent with our days (I bet you after you return to use XP will seem that you use something almost archaic).
The second thing that strikes us is that ... all the hardware detected! We've missed installing any driver! Should be mentioned in the same way, in another test installation we have done, then no has detected the network card, we assume that the more usual our hardware is more likely that we have detected it automatically. While, although we detected the graphics card, it must be clear that you have installed a generic driver, which does not have full capacity. But for users who do not use their PC to play regularly, you're more than good for the rest we will have to download the driver as usual.
Third, the new taskbar, in a rather similar to using Linux in its KDE . It is easy to use and within minutes we focus easily with its use. I would like to emphasize a point in favor of Microsoft in terms of management to minimize windows on the same icon in the taskbar. Later located only over the icon with the mouse we display a list with the windows we have available. This point well taken by the same utility to minimize the same application icons on the Dock of Mac OS X Snow Leopard , which in this case and this is a personal opinion, I find it somewhat complex to be clicking, deploy exposé , select, etc.
As for general use is fairly smooth and fast. Remember this is a print after a clean install, will have to see how well paid work after a few months. From what we still need to deliver is an antivirus, anti-spyware, and having to defragment the Windows common tasks both tired people. Remind you that here you have a post with some basic things that will need to keep your equipment in good condition.
Also surprised that the virtualization layer 7 application, primarily designed for XP, we found that an application for Vista has not worked. It seems that Microsoft denies Vista ...
Finally shutdown, much faster but only off by pressing the start menu and turn off, without prior confirmation, insurance that will give more than one accidentally and have a disappointment.
Final conclusion: Windows 7 experience left us somewhat cold. It gives us the feeling of being in an upgraded XP, because although the GUI is in keeping with the times (with all effects included), 7 did not provide any tool or function day to day user who say "why I'm taking the step. " The common tasks we do with our XP, will be just as simple or complex in Windows 7.
Would you recommend your facility?
Well, if you are Windows XP users and do not give too lazy, go ahead, you will have a new operating system more attractive than the current, safer, faster. Although first determine whether your machine in a position to bear it. If you also see a feature for which you want to take the step, not what you think. Windows 7 seems to work well. Only time will tell if good or very good.
If you are Windows Vista users, just say, what you waiting for?
